ANIL RAM started dancing from as young as he can remember and started the building blocks of his dance company in his teens. A performer, choreographer, entrepreneur, dreamer and visionary, today Anil is renowned for delivering visual interpretations of imagination.

Over the last 10 years, Anil has dedicated his time and creativity producing some of the most memorable works which demonstrates his exceptional capability to conceptualize and choreograph on a wide range of themes in an equally wide array of spaces, like Dashavatar, Ramayan, Mahabharata, Alive India In Concert Opening Ceremony, and many more.

Anil is driven by his passion for bringing innovation and creativity in dance. As the Artistic Director of unchainD, Anil has an uncanny manner of transforming an idea into a finished performance piece. His expressive, spatially challenging, careful consideration and awe inspiring choreography has won him popular and critical acclaim. His ability to translate a simple thought into a rhythmic experience makes him one of the most sought-after choreographers in Bangalore today.

Anil’s vision of assembling the different components of dance in an organized manner has taken unchainD from just being a dance company to being a profitable enterprise. Anil’s strong leadership and communication skills help convey decisions with assertiveness, making it easy to enforce rules of routines and recognizing the right talent. He provides clear direction while helping dancers work together as a team. He translates ideas into physical movements, decides on music, dance steps, body movements, costumes and cast placements to ensure that performances are seamless.
