In her career expanding more than two decades, Menaka started as a full time professional fashion model in Bangalore and was one of the leading models of her time. She has modelled for several top brands in the country and also competed at the Femina Miss India Contest in 1997 placing 7th amongst the finalists and 1st Runner-up at the Miss Bangalore Contest in 1995. She has worked with India's top Fashion Designers and Fashion Choreographers and walked the ramp at over 200 fashion shows both in India and abroad. She was known to be a look alike of Sonali Bendre the famous Bollywood actor.

Over the last 10 years, Anil has dedicated his time and creativity producing some of the She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore and is also passionate about painting and jewellery making during her spare time.

She switched to hospitality in 1997 where she worked with Holiday Inn in Singapore and completed her Management Development Program in Hospitality excelling as a Management Trainee at Sonnenalp Resort of Vail, a 4 Diamond Ski Resort at Vail, Denver, Colorado in the US.

She returned back to India, Bangalore in 2004 and moved on to developing and providing Management Training Programs in Retail and Customer Service Training as a consultant with several Educational Institutes and Retail Organizations. Her last corporate stint was with Lifestyle Stores of Landmark Group, India as Content Development Manager at their Corporate Office, for the Training department developing and managing training content for their then 60 stores Pan India, handled singularly.

Finally, unable to resist her passion for the creative arts and culture, she joined hands with unchainD as its Administration Director, and lately, as its Events Head. From the beginning, Menaka took on the role of client liaisons, artist management, and event management, for the company repertoire.

During her tenure here, she has put in place and streamlined administrative processes of documentation, cataloguing, marketing, legalities and finance.
